In short, we hope to give the people of San Angelo the best opportunity to become fully developing followers of Jesus!
How We Got Here
Our church started as a mission in 1967, by Pecan Baptist in Robert Lee. In 1973, Grace Temple officially organized into a church. We were then, and are still, a proud member of the BMAA of Texas. Currently, there are 3 active charter families, and a number more that came within the next couple years.
Since that time, the Lord has given us the ability to purchase much of the property around us, and expand our worship facilities three times (praying for the fourth within the next couple years). He has also allowed us to serve San Angelo through running a day care since 1988.
The most common statement we hear about Grace Temple is how loving and welcoming this church is. We started that way and continue this course, knowing that Christ has called us to be a family. Our arms and doors are always open and ready to welcome anyone looking for just that.
